Villa Gros Islets is a villa with two bedrooms located in Lurin, just outside Gustavia, the island's capital. It's a two-level property with the common areas upstairs, and the bedrooms below. The compact design makes it ideal for small groups or families of four. The pool is open to guests who want to relax, take in the sun, or enjoy a barbecue on the upstairs terrace that offers a spectacular view of the Caribbean Sea. From the bedrooms, you can access the downstairs terrace. The villa is located just a few minutes from Gustavia, which makes Villa Gros Ilets an ideal place to stay if you're new to Saint Bart’s. There are many conveniences in the area, including grocery shops. Gouverneur Beach is close by for those who want to spend a peaceful day on the beach.
Two bedrooms make up the villa, each with their own ensuite. One room has a king-sized bed while the other contains twin single beds. The rooms have a modern minimalist look with white as the main colour. The room is given a pleasant contrast by adding a few touches of darker colours, added to with blankets, pillows and feature paintings which helps to remove the feeling of being too clinical. The tropical villa has ceiling fans and air conditioners for your comfort.
The pool is constructed on the part of the terrace that receives the most sun. A few sun loungers are located nearby for working on your tan. A small table and couch are located on the roofed area and an alfresco dining table can seat up to six people in the area that leads from the kitchen. A gas barbecue grill is also available to guests. A small table and chairs are provided for the bedrooms downstairs.
The staircase divides upstairs into two areas: the living and indoor dining/kitchen areas. The living room is equipped with an air conditioner and a ceiling fan. It also has a flat-screen TV, an iPod dock, and a set of plush couches. You will find essential appliances in the kitchen, such as an oven, microwave and a toaster. There are also gas cooktops with extractor fans above, and a french door refrigerator with an ice maker attachment. You can walk downstairs to reach the hallway that leads to the bedrooms.
The rental price includes airport/harbour pickup and drop-offs. Upon their arrival at Villa Gris Ilets guests will be presented with a selection of welcome gifts. The villa specialists on-island will offer suggestions for the best activities to do on the island. The concierge will help guests with logistics. The housekeeping staff will change towels and sheets every other day, as well keep the villa in top condition.
Villa Gros Ilets can be found just outside Gustavia. Here, guests can buy groceries and other necessities. Although Lurin is not the most popular area, it's close enough to Gustavia Port to allow guests to explore the town. You can also enjoy a day at the beach with your family on Gouverneur. A number of islands are located in the Caribbean Sea, visible from the villa.
